What is Upneeq®? 

Upneeq® is a new prescription strength eye drop that is FDA approved to treat blepharoptosis (also referred to as ptosis and/or low-lying lids).  For years surgery was really the only option to treat low-lying lids.  Now with daily drops of Upneeq® you can lift your upper eye lids, creating a more youthful appearance without the downtime or risk involved with surgery.

• Can I use Upneeq® even though I wear contacts?

  Yes! It is safe to use if you wear contacts.

• I’ve had lasik, am I still a candidate for Upneeq®?

  Yes, you can use Upneeq® after lasik, but if you’re planning to get lasik you should consult with your eye doctor prior to starting this product.

• Will this work for everyone with sagging eye lids?

  Most clients see a noticeable improvement using this product. That said, if you have moderate to severe ptosis or excess skin on the upper eyelid, surgery may be the best option to get your desired result.

• How often do I need to do apply the drops?

  We’ll go over usage during your visit but in general most people do one drop per eye each morning.

• Are there any side effects?

  Upneeq® is well tolerated by most people however some people do experience redness and/or dryness.
