Tech Neck or Bed Neck?
/Are You Making Your Neck Wrinkles Worse While Lying in Bed and Looking at Your Phone?
Do you enjoy lying in bed and working on your tablet, computer or even your phone? Have you spent more time in this position during COVID and Snow-VID? Sadly, this can increase your neck wrinkles.
“Tech Neck” are the wrinkles and lines caused by the repetitive motion of looking at our phones. There is evidence that the worst neck wrinkles comes not just from looking down at your phone, but when looking at your phone when in bed. Who has not done this over the past 18 months?
If you look carefully at the lines around your neck, you will be able to see that the lines match up when you crease your neck in the position of looking at your phone, then they dissipate as you correct your neck position. Sleeping on your back is the best position for not causing sleep wrinkles, but lying there looking at your phone apparently is not the best anti-wrinkle position.
There are some pillow options that work to help cradle your head while you are looking at your electronic devices or even a book and while you are seeping. Further, we offer a variety of services that will help to reduce tech neck. It really depends on your skin and the depth of the wrinkles, but lucky that we have experts to help you determine the best way to get back into the world without tech neck!
