What are Skinboosters

Skinboosters are very different to those we use to plump the lips, add volume in the cheeks and smooth out deep lines on the face. Skinboosters are made from complex sugar chains also known as Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and are combined with a unique stabilisation process called NASHA® technology. The aim of a Skinbooster treatment is to restore and maintain the hydro-balance of the skin by improving elasticity and skin surface smoothness. The treatment is ideal for the rejuvenation of mature and photo-damaged skin, enabling long lasting effects of hydration and short term dermal support. Skinboosters are a slow releasing HA treatment that revitalizes the skin. The HA gel binds to water thereby hydrating the skin maintaining a fresh, firm and healthy appearance. This treatment is complimentary to chemical peels, laser therapy, muscle relaxants and dermal fillers.

 Where can Skinboosters be used

This treatment is so versatile it really is suited to anyone of any age.

 Will you see results immediately

The effect builds up gradually and subtly. While you are likely to see some benefits immediately, the full effect of the treatment may take up to 3 months. Most patients comment on their skin feeling smoother or their moisturiser penetrating for longer periods of the day. The visual differences can take a little longer, with patients noticing more of a glow in their skin, pore size refined and fine lines diminishing.

 How long will the results last

Following the initial treatment, the long-lasting HA in Skinboosters will provide hydration and continue to last for up to 6 – 12 months to give your skin a wonderful glow. It is always recommended with HA products to maintain to continue the benefit and see improving results.
