Dr. Kevin Light has been practicing the art and science of surgery since 1988.  He attended Michigan State University, earning his BS degree with honors in Biochemistry.  He finished specialty training in General and Trauma Surgery and was Chief Resident his fifth year.  Dr. Light entered the Air Force and practiced general and trauma surgery internationally for seven years, earning two Air Force Commendation Medals.  While in the Air Force, Dr. Light was trained in Aerospace Medicine and flew actively with F-15 and F-16 jet fighter squadrons as a Flight Surgeon.  He also served as Chief of Surgery during his deployment to Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War.  He moved to Texas in 1995, bringing his extensive experience and expertise to the Dallas area.

His innovative mind and inquisitive nature keeps Dr. Light on the cutting edge of the latest developments and trends in Cosmetic Surgery.  He is a Fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and annually attends many seminars around the world, bringing his patients the latest and greatest available.  He has four children and and is an avid snow skier, private pilot, travel enthusiast, and he also enjoys biking and hiking.

Dr. Light recently received his MBA from the University of Texas - One of the top business schools in the nation.  SkinSpaMed feels privileged to have him as our Medical Director and our patients benefit from his unique experience and expertise.
